Campari Turns 150

Campari are now 150 years young and in order to celebrate such a milestone they’ve decided to thank their consumers by selling limited edition bottles containing contemporary works of art, albeit with a retro bent. Internationally recognised artists Avaf, Vanessa Beecroft and Tobias Rehberger were each commissioned to produce personal interpretations of Campari to feature as limited edition labels. Given the minimal brief of ‘the colour red’ as a starting point, the results are red-hot, to say the least. Beecroft portrays a glass of Campari as a woman enveloped in a mass of red hair; Rehberger builds an abstract image based on the concept ‘magic potion’; and collective group Avaf see the aperitif as a goddess. The limited edition 700ml bottles are available from good liquor outlets.
