Resembling the wall of a Melbourne laneway as much as a mode of transportation, the Hyundai i20 ArtCar is an example of how modern art can be combined with modern motoring. Recently exhibited as part of The Australian International Motor Show, Hyundai’s i20 ArtCar was painted by local Sydney artists Beastman and Numskull, who completed the piece and a matching wall mural over three days in an underground workspace in Sydney. Created using aerosol paints, the design combines Numskull’s street art style with Beastman’s detailed geometric patterns to illustrate nature morphing with urban lifestyle. Bright and youthful, the design is intended to speak to the ‘Going Places’ marketing campaign used to launch Hyundai’s nifty i20 onto the Australian market recently.
