Future Music starts this weekend!

Future Music Festival is known to be the more let-loose dance festival of the family and this year it seems they’re giving the people what they want and expanding genres. Of course we still get the ‘doof doof’ from the likes of Chemical Brothers, Art vs Science and a vast array of DJs, but a fair few alt-rock bands are also joining the bill, like Tame Impala and Gypsy And The Cat. Now it’s all well and good to support the nation and the tunes that are coming out of Oz but we’re also finding the amount of big-name international additions quite exciting. There’s Mark Ronson & The Business International, Steve Aoki, Dizzee Rascal, and Professor Green. And who could forget the moment of confusion upon seeing that obnoxious dollar sign amongst the list… of course, we’re talking about Ke$ha. Tik, tok: get your tickets now if you haven’t already done so!
Future Music Festival takes place at Doomben Racecourse in Brisbane on Saturday 5th March; Arena Joondalup in Perth on Sunday 6th March; Randwick Racecourse in Sydney on Saturday 12th March; Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on Sunday 13th March and Rundle & Rymill Park in Adelaide on Monday 14th March.
