Shakuhachi injects more retro into your wardrobe

Romancing between 70s love child and structured 60s minimalist, Shakuhachi pre-fall/winter 2011 range is a tactile smorgasbord of silks, knits, leather and suede. The range contrasts flowing lace maxi dresses with structured leather separates, flared sleeved body suits with skinny arm over shawls, and belted waistlines with sexy shapeless blouson frocks.

Basically a lot of thought has gone into the design process as every piece seems to complement the next, especially when the lace and suede fringing cross paths. The colour palette mirrors the overseas favourites – mustard, burnt orange, browns, creams and black, which are absolutely rocking when teamed with the occasional subtle patterned piece. A particular standout is the long sleeved cable knit jumpsuit, deliciously adorable with a touch of sexy nana.
