Say hi to Sia's first greatest hits set

Born in Adelaide, growing up wanting to be a pop star, then dropping out of NIDA early enough to do so (“I just pretended I could sing” she slyly told Cream on the release of her 2002 debut), singer songwriter Sia has come a long way since.

The girl has been in plenty demand across the globe. Her albums have been both Grammy- and Mercury-Award nominated, she’s won four ARIAs, and enjoyed number one status for not only her own tunes but collaborations with artists as diverse as Christina Aguilera, David Guetta and The Strokes.

Now you can hear all these and more on the one shiny compilation, aptly titled Sia: Best Of…

The track-list includes Buttons, Numb, Clap Your Hands, You’ve Changed, The Girl You Lost To Cocaine, Breathe Me (ie: the closing song to the brilliant Six Feet Under series) and latest single Titanium.

Initially seeing herself as the unlikeliest of celebrities, Sia once told Cream: “I thought that once I’d become famous I would be cooler, more attractive and sexier. And I think that’s what I really wanted. But it’s been anti-climactic. I’ve just found that people’s perception of me has changed. That’s a bummer…”

The world begs to differ.
