Further casting in place for INXS biopic: Samantha Jade steps up as Kylie

At first glance, she looks the spitting image of Kylie Minogue but look beneath the honey-dyed roots and you’ll note it is one Samantha Jade who has been done up splendidly to look like Australia’s leading lady of pop.

Jade has been cast to play Minogue in the television biopic Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story Of INXS.

Joining her in the portrayal of the key women in the story of the band (and in particular, the women who hung off the arm of lead singer Michael Hutchence) are Mallory Jansen as Helena Christensen, and Georgina Haig as Paula Yates.

The two-part series is currently in production in Melbourne, with the Seven Network keeping hush on when it might reach our screens.

One thing’s for sure: the stylists on board – particularly those in hair and makeup – have done a terrific job in simulating each member of the band, and the women who were there muses.
