Lorde to tour Australia

Since being brought to the attention of the Australian music media a year and a half ago, 17-year-old New Zealand singer Lorde has practically been adopted as our own!

Now, the darling whose name is on everyone’s lips, and whose music is on just about everybody’s iPod, is touring Australia to play all-ages gigs around the country throughout April and May.

Performing her string of popular singles – ‘Royals’, ‘Tennis Court’, ‘Team’ – plus other songs from her massive debut album, ‘Pure Heroine’ (and some new sonic surprises, we’re sure), Lorde will play venues and dates in most capital cities.

Her Oz tour kicks off on Thursday 24 and Saturday 26 April in Melbourne (at Festival Hall), then on Sunday 27 April in Adelaide (AEC Theatre), Thursday 29 April in Perth (Challenge Stadium), Friday 2 and Saturday 3 May in Sydney (Hordern Pavilion), Sunday 4 May in Newcastle (Entertainment Centre), and Tuesday 6 May in Brisbane (Riverstage). Lorde has enjoyed chart and record-breaking success around the globe, can brag a total of over 350 million views on Youtube; and has been scooping international awards including Grammys and a Brit Award, garnering critical praise from the greatest of music icons, from David Bowie to Kanye West.

Catch her live before she gets too big for her boots!
