Paloma Faith has been blessed with a vocal talent that appears to channel the style, if not actual soul, of Billie Holiday, Janis Joplin, Etta James, and more of the best female artistry in music.

This year, the award-winning and multi-platinum artist will debut with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra (SSO) at the Sydney Opera House.

On Friday 6 April, in an exclusive performance, Faith will perform songs from her new album The Architect including ‘Guilty’, ‘Cry Baby’, ‘‘Til I’m Done’ and other favourites such as ‘Can’t Rely on You’, ‘Picking up the Pieces’ and the ARIA #1 4 x platinum hit ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This’.

Said Faith in a press statement: “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to perform with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and in such a prestigious venue… Ever since Australia gave me my first No. 1, it feels like home. I can’t wait to pick up where I left off!”

This will be Paloma Faith’s first-ever orchestral performance in Australia.  Lisa Andrews
