'Gossip Girl: The Complete Third Season' is packed with more shenanigans, style tips and sarcastic quips than 'spotted' in Seasons One and Two. There's affair after affair, plenty of teen-going-on-twenty-something angst, and moral tug-of-wars than a lifetime of 'The Young And The Restless', but it's the turmoil and some-what sassy destruction that seems to lure us in the first place, along with the enticing wardrobe and ludicrously attractive cast. The regular troupe is vamped up with appearances from the likes of Hilary Duff, Joanna Garcia, Tyra Banks, Billy Baldwin as well as captivating music performances from Sonic Youth and Lady Gaga. While it seems impossible to keep up with who's dating / sleeping together/ fighting and bitching about each other, this season takes us (however momentarily) away from high school and into - as the subtitle explains - 'real life'. If this is real life, we want what they're having.
